Official Information Act request relating to meeting minutes and advice provided 
to Ministers 
 
Thank  you  for  your  request  made  under  the  Official  Information  Act  1982  (the  Act), 
received on 15 June 2021. You requested: 
 
“all  meeting  minutes  of  the  two  advisory  groups,  and  copies  of  all  advice  they 
provided to the two ministers, for the period 18 May to 15 June. 
 
Further,  I  would  like  to  request  copies  of  all  COVID-19  Response  Weekly 
Reports, dated from the beginning of February to 15 June.” 
 
I  believe  that  the  part  of  your  request  for  information  about  COVID-19  Response 
Weekly  Reports  is  more  closely  connected  to  the  work  of  the  Minister  for  COVID-19 
Response, Hon Chris Hipkins. Accordingly, I have decided under section 14(b)(ii) of the 
Act  to  transfer  this  part  of  your  request  to  the  Minister  for  COVID-19  Response.  The 
other  part  of  the  request  has  not  been  transferred,  and  the  Department  of  the  Prime 
Minister and Cabinet will respond in due course. 
 
Minister Hipkins has the usual timeframes under the Act from receipt of this transfer to 
make a decision on your request.
