has ever hosted, contacted, received donations from, sponsored, or otherwise supported

I can confirm that Tourism New Zealand has not had any contact with the individuals 
named. Tourism New Zealand has worked with AMWAY China in the past and in 2018, in 
partnership with Destination Queenstown, we were successful securing the hosting of the 
AMWAY China Leadership Seminar. You can read the Stuff article about that visit here.  We 
continue to work with AMWAY China on future hosting opportunities in New Zealand.    
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
