Dear Sir/Madam

I write in response to your Official Information Act request received by us by way of partial transfer on
the 4th May 2021, where you requested the following information:
Why there are no any pathways through Manukau Healthpark?
Counties Manukau Health Response:
In regard to your request, we emailed you on the 21st May 2021 advising we had attempted to transfer
your request to both Auckland Council and Auckland Transport. We were unsuccessful at transferring
this request and we requested clarification from you in order to understand better the scope of your
request. At the date of this letter, we have not heard back from you.
As we did not receive clarification from you regarding your request, we are unable to provide a specific
response to your request however we can advise that when our facilities are designed, consideration is
taken into ensuring access to the site is in line with the clinical and operational needs for the site. With
recently announced investment funding to expand services provided at Manukau Health Park, we wil
be revisiting the Master Site Plan and include pedestrian access through the site as part of that work.
Should you wish to provide us with more specific detail about your interest in this matter, please
contact us again and we wil consider this request.
You are entitled to seek a review of the response by the Ombudsman under section 28(3) of the
Official Information Act. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or Freephone 0800 802 602.
Please note that this response or an edited version of this may be published on the Counties Manukau
Health website. If you consider there are good reasons why this response should not be made publicly
available, we will be happy to consider this.
Yours sincerely
