In  your  email  to  the  New  Zealand  Film  Commission  (NZFC)  dated  25  March  2021,  you 
requested the following information under the Official Information Act 1982 {OIA}: 
1. I am currently collecting as many New Zealand films on dvd/bluray as possible but I
am having difficulty finding a comprehensive list of films filmed in New Zealand by
predominantly a New Zealand cast and crew.  Do you have such a list I can access,
with information regarding whether a film had a DVD/Bluray release?
Answers to your questions are set out below: 
There are lists of feature films made in New Zealand on the NZFC website. Links to these 
lists are here:

• Feature Films made in New Zealand (from 2013)
These  lists  are  of  feature  films  only  and  do  not  say  whether  they  were  filmed  by 
predominately a New Zealand cast or crew, or if they had a DVD or Bluray release. The NZFC 
does not hold this information. 
These lists comprise the films that the NZFC has been made aware of and we cannot confirm 
that  they  are  a  complete  list  of  al   films  made  in  New  Zealand  (e.g.,  there  may  be 
independent films that have not been brought to the NZFC's attention). 
Please note that it is not the  NZFC's responsibility to keep a list of  New Zealand films, or 
to keep that list up to date.
