I refer to your information request we received on 3 March 2021 for the following in relation to 
International Woman’s Day on 8 March 2021: 
 
What percentage of Council employees are paid at or over the midpoint/median of the 
salary range for their particular role? and 
 
What percentage of those Council employees paid at or over their set 
midpoint/median identify as female? 
 
Council response regarding your request 
 
Currently 45% of employees are paid at or above the median for their particular role. Of those, 
58% employees identify as female. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
