Request for Information – Our Reference: IR-01-21-4149 
 
Thank you for your request for information dated 10 February 2021 requesting information 
about the Police call signs. Specifically, you requested: 
 
a list of ALL Police radio call signs in use (as of 10/02/2021) when request was 
made) throughout all of New Zealand on the Police radio system (e.g. NNI = Nelson 
Incident Patrol, XRR = Tairua Rural Patrol, etc.). 
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the Official Information Act 1982. 
 
I have enclosed a list containing all the cal  signs and their respective locations that are 
available to Police staff as of 26 February 2021. 
 
I trust this satisfies your request. If you are not satisfied with my response, you have the 
right under section 28(3) of the Act to make a complaint to the Ombudsman and seek an 
investigation and review.
