Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the Ministry of 
Health (the Ministry) on 4 February 2021 for: 
 
“A list of vendors that have provided data science services to MOH in the last three 
years.” 
 
The Ministry’s contract management system does not categorise contracted services, nor does 
the Ministry record contracted services in this manner. To provide this information would require 
going through all contracts issued within the last three years to determine if a specific 
vendor/contract fits within the scope of your request. For this reason, your request is refused 
under section 18(f) of the Act, as it would involve substantial manual research and collation. 
 
Under section 28(3) of the Act you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review any
