Thank you for your request for information dated 19 January 2021 about the costs involved in 
developing Auckland Transport’s “Commute Calculator”. 
The cost of the Commute Calculator Project within AT was $187,729.56. 
We are unable to provide a breakdown under section 7(2)(b)(ii) of the Local Government Official 
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), as the withholding of the information is necessary to 
protect the information where the making available of the information would be likely unreasonably 
to prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied or who is the subject of the 
information. 
Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your request, you are able to make 
a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act, 
and seek an investigation and review in regard to this matter.
