Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
How many skate park/ public community facilities across the Auckland area have no 
pedestrian space for users to park and safely walk? 
 
The information you have requested is more closely connected with the functions of Auckland Council 
than with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency. Therefore, I am transferring your request to Auckland 
Council under section 14 of the Official Information Act 1982. 
 
The time limit for their response to you is 20 working days from 13 January 2021. As per the 
Ombudsman’s calendar, the Summer holidays (25 December to 15 January) and the Day after New 
Year's Day (2 January 2021) are taken into account in calculating this, so you can expect a response 
from them on or before 15 February 2021.
