Separately, Tash in my team has asked that I talk to Andrew Wharton from WCC about definition
of MRT etc in the light of Daran’s comments. Andrew is well connected with the spatial planning
in WCC and the NPS Urban Development.
Should we invite him to the meeting on 21 December?

Hi as part of the next piece of work from the WRGF we have started meetings on all the work
required for the NPSUD and the Freshwater package – including the NPSFM. At a recent
meeting we had we agree that one key piece of early work is to get regionally agreed definitions
on things eg rapid transit, walkable neighbourhoods so that we can have some regional
consistency.
Amy suggested that I invite you to the meeting on 21st where we are discussing (and hopefully
agreeing) these things. If you cannot attend then let me know and perhaps I can get your input
on this work beforehand
