On 23 November 2020 we received your request for information about correspondence to the 
owner of 370 Kingseat Road, Pukekohe regarding the road barriers on the verge and adjoining 
private lane. 
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, as the safety of road users if very important to Auckland 
Transport. 
Since receiving your request, we have undertaken a site visit and obtained photographs of the wheel 
stops that have been instal ed in the road. We agree that these could be an issue for vehicles turning 
in and out of the private road here and so wil  be contacting the property owner/s who appear to 
have instal ed them to request that they be removed. 
Currently we do not hold any correspondence with the owner of 370 Kingseat Road. Your request is 
refused under section 17(e) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 
(LGOIMA), as the information you have requested does not exist. 
Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your request, you are able to make 
a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA and 
seek an investigation and review in regard to this matter.
