been considered pursuant to the Official Information Act 1982. Specifically, you requested: As of the date of replying to this request, how many $300 instant fines have been issued?
Police can confirm that, as of 22 September 2020, there have been no $300
infringements issued for non-compliance of mandatory mask wearing on public transport.
I trust you are satisfied with my response to your request. If not, you have a right under
section 28(3) of the Official Information Act 1982 to ask the Office of the Ombudsman to
seek an investigation and review of my decision.
