Dear Mr Battle, 
 
I am writing in regard to your official information request dated 15 August 2020 seeking information 
related to the Uniflats and the Sustainability Neighbourhood.   
 
The Official Information Act requires that we provide the information for your request no later than 
20 working days after we received your request (due 11 September).  Unfortunately, it will not be 
possible to meet that time limit and I am therefore writing to notify you of an extension under 
section 15A(1)(b) of the Act.   
The extension is due to the time needed to complete consultation and collation in the preparation of 
the response.  I am thus advising that the response wil  now be provided no later than 1 October (15 
working days).  I have specified this timeframe to ensure there is sufficient time to prepare the 
response however, I will endeavour to provide the information in advance of this date. 
I note your right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman about this extension under 
section 28(3) of the Official Information Act.
