Official Information Act Request for Tutor Employment Statistics for Trimester 
2 of 2020 
 
I refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) 
dated 11 August 2020. 
 
I would like to know how many tutors have been employed by each faculty and each 
school at VUW in trimester 2 this year. 
 
Please see the attached Table (p.2) that provides headcount numbers for all appointments at 
Faculty and School levels with “Tutor” and “Senior Tutor” in the job title. Also note that 
employees who have held multiple tutor jobs will have been counted multiple times. The 
trimester two dates used were those from the revised 2020 University Calendar due to 
COVID-19.
