I refer to your request of 6 July 2020, under the Official Information Act 1982, for the following 
information: 
Please provide all information, documents, correspondence, or any other information held in any 
form regarding the qualification 'Bachelor of Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine'. Please interpret 
this request to encompass all versions including drafts, and any documents held in any kind of 
backup system 
NZQA has scoped your request and has concluded that a response cannot be prepared without 
substantial collation and research, which would impact on NZQA’s day to day operations. 
We request that you clarify and refine your original request, to enable NZQA to respond. For 
example, the request could be refined to include information, documents and correspondence 
regarding NZQA approval of the 'Bachelor of Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine'; or information, 
documents and correspondence produced by NZQA within a particular timeframe.  
Please note, any clarification or amendment to a request is considered to be a new request for the 
purpose of calculating the maximum statutory timeframe for response – see section 15(1AA) of the 
Official Information Act.
