Information Request – Cornish Point vegetation fire costs 
 
I refer to your official information request dated 29 May 2020 asking for the following information 
in relation to a fire at Cornish Point on 4 November 2019: 
  details of the total costs incurred by FENZ to control and extinguish this fire including those for 
the helicopters. 
 
The following table shows a breakdown of the costs as at 7 June 2020.  We are still awaiting an 
account from an external organisation to reimburse them for firefighting services provided during 
this fire.  It is anticipated these costs will be around $5,000.
