Official Information Act Request for Tutor Employment Statistics  
 
I refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) 
dated 28 May 2020. 
 
I would like to know how many tutors have been employed by each faculty and each 
school at VUW for the last five years in trimesters 1, 2, and 3. 
 
Please see the attached Table (pp.2-3) that provides headcount numbers for all 
appointments at Faculty and School levels with “Tutor” and “Senior Tutor” in the job title. 
Also note that employees who have held multiple tutor jobs will have been counted multiple 
times. The trimester dates used were those from the 2015–2020 University Calendar, up to 
and including the end of Trimester 1 in 2020.
