OFFICIAL INFORMATION ACT REQUEST 
Thank you for your FYI request of 13 February 2020 relating to the Animal Welfare 
Institute of New Zealand (AWINZ), in which you requested the following. 
• Any trust deed which you held or any evidence of incorporation which you had
for AWINZ prior to May 2006
• Any reports, records, notes and documents where MAF communicated with to
the alleged trustees at any time being Nuala Grove, Sarah Giltrap, Graeme
Coutts, Wyn Hoadley and later Tom Didovich
• Any documentation which shows that MAF conducted an investigation into the
legal existence of AWINZ the approved organisation and the file which relates
to my complaint that it did not exist
As noted on many occasions previously, all information held by the Ministry for 
Primary Industries (MPI) regarding AWINZ has already been released to you and 
MPI considers matters relating to AWINZ to be closed. Therefore, as was detailed in 
our most recent response to you OIA20-0076, your request is refused pursuant to 
section 18(h) of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), as the request is frivolous or 
vexatious. 
You have the right under section 28(3) of the OIA to seek an investigation and review 
by the Ombudsman of this decision.
