Hi Stephen
Please find attached the information relating to the temporary bus layover space on Moorefield Road we have discussed. As you know, this is part of the medium term solution to allow us to make our way to the long term layover spaces options we are considering in the western side of Johnsonville. As you know, we have retained a very small number of buses within the Johnsonville mall carpark but for operational reasons, we still need a temporary layover on Moorefield Road. This locations gives additional space, gives a space for buses to wait and not wait at Stop C. As you know we are having safety concerns raised by Challenge 2000 who are located right next to Stop C and they feel their access is compromised by the bus stop.
Unfortunately, Higgins are going to mark the new road tonight so its possibly too late to include these markings but I would be keen to have these approved in time for the operation of the bus stop commencing on the 8 December.
Can you let me know if these could be done temporarily until resolutions could be done for council to approve?
Regards

Subject: Temporary Bus Stop Layover Spaces (Moorefield Road - Johnsonville)
Hi Sam
Can you please send me an electronic copy of the drawing and technical report we discussed yesterday. This is of the additional temporary bus stops layover spaces on Moorefield Road just prior to Stop C.
I would like to send these to S Harte today in order to get feedback, and to make a decision early next week. We can talk this over with him at our WCC meeting today at 11am, and then see if I can get a verbal and formal response in order to keep this moving.
