I refer to your email, dated 16 October 2019, requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act from Canterbury DHB.  
 
  Could you please provide the total number of hospital beds from 2017 to 2019 at Canterbury 
District Health Board? Yearly count will be great.   
 
Please refer to Table one (below) for the current total number of hospital beds at Canterbury District 
Health Board. Note: The numbers of beds across the Canterbury DHB’s hospitals has essentially 
remained the same over the period requested.  There may be a little fluctuation as some services have 
been re-configured.
