RE: OIA 19-20-07 INTERNATIONAL SALARIES AND BENEFITS 
 
Thank you for your request of 7 October 2019 regarding an Of icial Information Act 1982 (the 
Act) request, seeking:  
•  I would like to request the salary band for all international posts (e.g.Trade 
Commissioner,Business Development Manager etc) and their relevant benefit 
documents, (e.g. medical/international travel/accommodation etc) for example, 
beside their salary, what else they wil  get/ peaks etc.

Please see the ‘Benefits’ sheet in the attached spreadsheet for an overview of standard 
benefits provided across locations. Your request for the relevant benefit documents is being 
refused under sections 18(a) and 18(f) of the Act. Benefits may be negotiated on an 
individual basis, and we would not release this information in order to protect the privacy of 
the individuals concerned. Benefits vary between countries and individuals, and documents 
detailing specific entitlements are held in the individual offices. These documents can not be 
made available without the substantial collation of data. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
