I refer to your official information request dated 2 October 2019 for F2844357, Pineapple Flagstaff 
Track. 
 
The Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) requires that we advise you of our decision on your 
request no later than 20 working days after the day we received your request.  Unfortunately, it 
will not be possible to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an 
extension of the time to make our decision, to another 20 working days to allow for completion of 
fire investigation report that is still being done. 
 
The reason for the extension is that: 
 
  Your request is for a copy of a fire investigation report.  The report is currently being 
prepared by the investigating Fire Risk Management Officer and has not yet been 
completed or internally approved.  Your request will be advanced once the report is 
available.  At this stage, it is anticipated that the report will be available for release within 
another 20 working days.  
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
