GOVERNANCE AND OVERSIGHT
The head of the NZSIS is the Director-General

assessed threat to New Zealand’s national security. 
NZSIS investigations are conducted in a manner 
that is both lawful and proportionate. We do not

NZSIS is subject to robust oversight from the
