Gambling Venue Consent – Club Merger – Avondale Returned Services Association Inc and New
Zealand ‘Al Golds’ Cosmopolitan Club Inc

We have been asked to assist the Avondale Returned Services Association Inc and the New
Zealand ‘All Golds’ Cosmopolitan Club Inc with their merger and fresh class 4 operator’s
licence and venue licence application.
2.
Both the Avondale Returned Services Association Inc and the New Zealand ‘All Golds’
Cosmopolitan Club Inc are “clubs”, namely a voluntary association of persons combined
for a purpose other than personal gain.
Enclosed is a copy of each club’s certificate of
incorporation and their club liquor licence.
3.
The place where the two venues are being merged is 3-7 Layard Street, Avondale,
Auckland 1026.
Enclosed is the current class 4 venue licence for this location.

The Avondale Returned Services Association Inc currently holds a class 4 venue licence to
operate 18 gaming machines (confirmation
enclosed). The New Zealand ‘All Golds’
Cosmopolitan Club Inc currently holds a class 4 venue licence to operate nine machines
(confirmation
enclosed). A consent for 22 machines is sought at the merged club (18 + 9
= 27, 27 x 5/6th = 22.49).
