I am organising a meeting at our Orewa office to discuss the tender and work staging of the
Matakana Link Road build.
Here are two dates – can you let me know what you can make and we’ll try and get everyone
together. It would be great if you can accommodate the diary.
I am away tomorrow (Wednesday 7th until Tuesday 13th so have copied s 9(2)(a) at the office
here to facilitate).

I have set the date for the Matakana Link Road meeting at Mark’s office to be next Thursday 15th
August 1-2pm.
I do hope you can make this – if not perhaps you could organise for a suitable person to attend
on your behalf.
Proposed agenda In relation to the MLR;
General Questions:
When is the work is going to tender?
Are the options put forward for the tender process to include a full four lane road and
four lane bridge option?
Is the work staged to enable earthworks and prevent the loss of a season whilst appeal
issues are resolved?
The issues that require resolving are not difficult to resolve and are listed as follows,
Improving the performance of the SH1/MLR intersection including its alignment with the
future Western Link
Providing for intersections to the industrial land
Removing the ecological embargo
Providing collaborative storm water discharge and treatment issues
Traffic Modelling
Provision of Services
