Decision on Information Request - Refinement/Charging letter
Dear Mr Davenport
Thank you for your refined request made under the Local Government Official Information
and Meetings Act 1987 (the Act), received on 11 October 2019. You have requested the
following information:
Information specific to Site ID SI440-1
1. A confirmation that the device was incorrectly configured prior to August 26th 2019.
2. A confirmation that the device was configured to the correct speed on August 26th
2019.
3. The speed the device was configured for prior to August 26th 2019.
4. The full report of the calibration check done for the annual test as of December
2018 for this device. In case this report does not include the information, I am
specifically requesting:
a) The configured speed before the calibration check;
b) The configured speed after the calibration check.
5. The initial installation report from August, 2012. In case this report does not include
the information, I am specifically requesting:
a) The configured speed after installation.
The team has assessed your refined request and have estimated that it will take up to a
maximum of six hours to research and collate this information for you.
Charging for current request:
The Council charges $38/half hour with the first four hours free.
To research and collate the information for this request, we estimate that the work will take
a maximum of six hours with the first four hours free that will leave two chargeable hours.
The maximum charge will be $152.00 (2hr x 2 x $38 = $152.00 inc GST).
Before we proceed further with your request, please confirm that:
you agree to pay the $152.00 inc GST to have the information made available to
you;
you agree that once payment is received that the information will be made available
to you within 20 working days.

If the Council does not hear back from you by close of business on the 24 October 2019
we will consider that you have declined to pay for the request and the request will be
closed.
