Extension to the time for your response 
Thank you for your official information request received on 2 April 2024 for 
“all emails (with attachment if any) Surveyor-General received from Cadastral 
Surveyors Licensing Board of New Zealand between 1st Jan 2024 to 2nd Apr 2024.” 
Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the 20-working day timeframe required by the 
Official Information Act. Therefore, we are writing to notify you of an extension of time to 
make our decision. The new due date is 13 May 2024. 
This extension is necessary because consultations necessary to make a decision on your 
request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original 
time limit. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of this decision by the
