The Board is funded entirely by the annual licensing fees collected from licensed cadastral
surveyors.
Board members (except the Surveyor-General) fees are in accordance with the Cabinet Fees
Framework determined by the Government for paying members of statutory and other bodies in
which the Crown has an interest.

Jason, the CSLB sits outside LINZ as a separate statutory body (unlike the NZGB which is
administered within LINZ). Phil is the secretary.

Can you please assist with completing the attached Cabinet Fees Survey for the Cadastral
Surveyors Licensing Board of NZ? I couldn’t see in Tech1 that the board members are paid by
LINZ. Are they paid from the licensing of cadastral surveyors?
