Thank you for your information request dated 12 January 2024. You asked for the following 
information: 
 
“I know you have a Nominations Service-  board  nomination database and 
frequently send board appointment positions within your database by way of 
email to encourage your database to apply. 
 
May I kindly request the all emails you have send to your nomination service 
database from 1st Jan 2023 to 12 Jan 2024”. 
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the Of icial Information Act 1982 
(the Act). 
 
We have interpreted your request to mean emails advising of board position vacancies 
and events that were of wide distribution to multiple members on our Nominations Service 
database, Te Pae Ārahi from 1 January 2023 to 12 January 2024. 
 
Two documents have been identified as being in the scope of your request.  
 
Some information has been withheld in accordance with the Act on the following grounds: 
•  section 9(2)(a) - to protect the privacy of natural persons. 
 
In making the decision to withhold information, I have considered the public interest 
considerations in section 9(1) of the Act. 
 
I trust my response satisfies your request. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this response.
