The total number of PGY1 House Officer positions fil ed by the ACE matching
system for each year between 2018 and 2022, and a breakdown of these by
country of training of the candidate (e.g. New Zealand, Australia).

BOPDHB does not record information about country of training however most wil hold
degrees from NZ or Australia. Pursuant to clause 18(e) of the Of icial Information Act
the BOPDHB cannot provide this information on the grounds that the information does
not exist.

for each year between 2018 and 2022.

o BOPDHB attempted to recruit PGY2 and above for the vacancies but were
unsuccessful, so viewed PGY1/NEXRex doctors to fil the positions.
o When seeking PGY1 candidates, BOPDHB reviews the ACE talent pool spreadsheet in
first instance.
o These figures include international graduates who applied for PGY1 positions.
