Money Laundering is here in New Zealand.
AML Act gives legislation about money laundering.
1.35 billion from drugs, fraud and other crime per year in New Zealand.
New laws looking at any transactions over $1,000 from overseas would trigger a check.
Robberies e.g. diary’s
- Crime trend since February 2017 shows a drop in this area.
- Op Dukan is still ongoing.
- General crime stats are dropping.
- Regional fuel tax up the price of fuel which leads to an increase of petrol drive offs etc. etc.
