Thank you for your emails of 14 February 2019 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
Of the Auckland Regional Fuel Tax refund claims declined between October 1st 2018 through 
to January 20th 2019 how many were from agents making claims on behalf of a claimant and 
how many were from claimants claiming themselves.  
 
Please provide total amount of claims declined per week by claimants for Auckland Regional 
Fuel Tax rebates for each individual week from October 1st 2018 through to January 20th and 
the reasons for those claims being declined.  
 
Please provide the total amount of claims paid (the number of claims) per week to claimants of 
Auckland Regional Fuel Tax rebates for each individual week from October 1st 2018 through 
to January 20th 2019. 
 
In accordance with your first question, the total number of claims declined for the period 1 October 
2018 to 20 January 2019 is 184. Of those 184, 143 are from individual claimants and 41 were 
submitted through agents/bureaus.   
 
The total number of claims declined each week for Auckland Regional Fuel Tax rebates and their 
reasons for the period 1 October 2018 to 20 January 2019 are in attachment one. 
   
Please refer to the following table for the total number of claims paid each week for Auckland Regional 
Fuel Tax rebates for the period from 1 October 2018 to 20 January 2019.
