Request made under the Official Information Act 1982 
 
Thank you for your email of 27 November 2018 requesting the following information under the 
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
Please release all information, data, records , emails , documents you have of house vibrations 
caused due to traffic on the road in Manukau region (based in Auckland). 
Please release all reports you have of house vibrations caused by traffic due to poor road 
quality in Auckland region generally. 
 
The NZ Transport Agency wrote to you on 6 December 2018 asking you to refine and narrow down 
your request. The Transport Agency has advised you that it considers the scope of your request to be 
very broad and the Transport Agency is only responsible for state highways not suburban streets. 
 
However, the Transport Agency has not received a refined request from you. As the information you 
have requested cannot be made available without substantial collation and research, your request is 
refused under section 18(f) of the Act.  
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review this decision to 
refuse your request. The contact details for the Ombudsman can be located at
