[FYI request #9008 email]
Dear Mr Davenport
Request for information 2018 - 402
I refer to your request for information dated 24 December 2018, which was received by Greater
Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) on 24 December 2018. You have requested the following
information:
“In an email dated 26 Oct 2018 from Bruce Horsefield to Matthew Lear, there was an indication
that Metlink may help support a Red light Campaign with the operators. I would like to request any
information about any planning of this campaign. This should include any correspondence with the
operators about this campaign”
GWRC’s response follows:
As there has not been any Metlink-organised red light campaign, there is no information about
planning such a campaign. GWRC has, however, been proactively working with operators to raise
awareness of traffic light adherence through its normal operational forum to address this issue.
Correspondence and meeting notes with operators and Wellington City Council (WCC) have been
sent to you in response to OIA 2018-395. This includes:
Notes from monthly meeting between the WCC and the GWRC on 13 November 2018.
Copies of correspondence with NZ Bus and Mana Coach Services.
FINAL OIA 2018 - 402 HUGH DAVENPORT RESPONSE
If you have any concerns with the decision(s) referred to in this letter, you have the right to request
an investigation and review by the Ombudsman under section 27(3) of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
Yours sincerely
Greg Pollock
