Thank you for your email of 9 September  2018 requesting the fol owing information under the Official 
Information  Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
May I please ask for a traffic camera footage of the Auckland Habour Bridge showing Southbound 
traffic, from the North Shore to CBD, taken from 8:50am to 9:20am on the 10th of November 
2017. 
 
The CCTV system is designed to overwrite existing footage every three to seven days, depending on 
location. As the New Zealand Transport Agency received your request more than seven days after the 
footage was captured, unfortunately it has not been retained.  Your request has therefore been refused 
under section 18(e) of the Act as the information does not exist. 
 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to refuse
