Hi Nolwenn

Thank you for submitting the response to the Letter of Direction that arose from this years annual audit. I acknowledge receipt and the explanations and actions that Watercare has already taken to address the issues raised. I am satisfied that Watercare Services Ltd is taking all necessary actions to improve compliance at the site and I look forward to our upcoming site visit to discuss these issues further.

Regards

Ed

Subject: RE: Watercare WTP audit

Good afternoon,

Please find attached our response to the Letter of direction.

As discussed we acknowledge the partial compliance status given the HFA spill which occurred last year.

However, we would still be interested in meeting and reviewing with you the new consent condition relating to abstraction while the river level is low.

According to our trends we did not breach this condition, and believe the misunderstanding comes from the data tag used (i.e: 15mn take versus daily net take).

We would like to discuss with you what would be the best way of reaching consensus on this.

Please let me know if you would like to meet, and when would suit you.

Kind regards,

Nolwenn

Subject: Watercare WTP audit

Hi Nolwenn

Please find attached a copy of the audit and letter as well as the letter of direction for this year’s audit of the WTP. I have amended the issues you raised with me previously unfortunately this hasn’t affected the overall compliance status. A large part of this relates to the spills etc which are now no longer likely to affect the compliance status for the next audit.

There are no significant issues but just get a response back to me for the required actions in LOD by 6 June if possible. If you need longer just ask. I have put paper copies in the post.

Regards

Ed
