Proposed wording para 3 ... East-West link
Raewyn
Following our discussion, can you please let me know if this OK.
“I am looking to make decisions on the GPS over the next few weeks that would implement this response.
As part of the normal consultation process, I would welcome the Board identifying how it could respond to
the priority above, alongside any comments the Board has on adjustments that might need to be made to
the Government Policy Statement for land transport (GPS) to implement this response”.
Thank you
Kind regards

Thanks for the updated version.
We have two comments:
One very important point is to take out references to “Motorway” as it is not a motorway.  It is a
60km/hr arterial.  We recommend you call it “East West Link” throughout.
The second point is in regard to the letter and we would ask that the wording of the below para have
the context added around the Board’s being consulted as part of GPS development.  New wording
which we ask you consider inserting is in capitals below:
I would welcome the Board identifying how it could make its response.  AS YOU ARE AWARE
THE GPS IS DEVELOPED AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THE NZ TRANSPORT AGENCY
BOARD SO I WOULD WELCOME ANY comments the Board has on adjustments that might need
to be made to the Government Policy Statement for land transport (GPS) to implement this
response.
Many thanks.
