I refer to your email received on 9 October 2012 received by the Christchurch City Council’s Info In-box requesting information in relation to infringement notice 5274609.


Please note that your request for information is being handled under the provisions of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (the “Act”).


I refer to your request below and respond accordingly:


  1. Please supply the complaint details relating to our vehicle parked on our driveway from 1 September 2012 to 3 October 2012 and infringement ticket number 5274609.


The infringement notice was issued due to the vehicle completely blocking the footpath - photos of the offence are attached.


The officer was not acting on a complaint but observed the offending vehicle as he was patrolling the area.
