Re: job description CDAC / ACE 
 
I refer to your email, which we received on 1 December 2015, requesting information about 
job descriptions and the structure of the Community Development Arts and Culture 
department at Auckland Council. 
 
The Community Development Arts and Culture department (CDAC) is now known as Arts, 
Community and Events (ACE). 
ACE’s purpose and vision is: enabling connected, creative communities. All Aucklanders are 
actively engaged and participating in community life; key stakeholders champion ACE; Māori 
promote ACE as a role model Treaty partner; all communities are empowered. 
 
Also included as part of this response are the following documents: 
 
  Organisation charts which indicate the structure for each unit in the department 
  Position Descriptions for each of the positions in the ACE structure.
