Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) Request–Information Your Organisation Holds About Me
I refer to your request dated 15 November 2025 for:
I recently discovered i have been red flagged by the AMLA for money laundering. Something i have
never been charged with. I have been told the AMLA is part of several govt depts so i should contact
all relevant ones about this and request all information they may have on me in regards to this.
Response
We have addressed a contemporaneous Privacy Act Request for similar information, and you have been
provided information pursuant to that request. All the information identified was released in full.
We have thoroughly searched our records in relation to your Privacy Act request. We have not identified any
information beyond the information that we provided you in our response to that request.
Consequentially we have decided to refuse this request pursuant to s18(d) of the OIA:
that the document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist or, despite reasonable
efforts to locate it, cannot be found

complain to the Ombudsman regarding our assessment of your request, in accordance with section 28 of the
