Kia ora Victoria – thanks for that.

Elaine – will I leave it with you to respond to the requestor along the lines of there has been no such thing as the Mayor’s “Commissioner for the LGBT community"

Cheers,

Eddie

Kia ora Eddie

Nothing to do with the panels. Fale was on the Rainbow Communities Advisory Panel before the 2022-2025 term but a role “Commissioner for the LGBT community” as far as I understand, does not exist.

Hi Victoria,

Could I run the below LGOIMA request by you please – nothing from Mayor Wayne Brown or our office but thought perhaps it may be Panels related from previous terms if any of the request might mean anything to you?

Thanks for scanning through and copying in Elaine who the LGOIMA has been assigned to.

Regards,

Tēnā koe Eddie

As far as I am aware, there has been no such thing as the Mayor’s “Commissioner for the LGBT community" this term.

Perhaps it may have been a previous mayoral term?

I note that Mr Lesa’s referenced application to be a ‘Complaints Assessment Commissioner’ at the Real Estate Authority, was written in 2021: https://fyi.org.nz/request/32150-fale-andrew-lesa-v3#incoming-130788 (so another department in Auckland Council may hold the information)

Is this panels related?
