Thank you for your request for information relating to communications with the South Island Resource Recovery Limited. There have been no further Council communications from 2024 to 2025.

A report went to the 27 June 2024 Council meeting recommending that any establishment of a future waste to energy plant would be the responsibility of the private sector.
