Hi Stephen
Just to confirm that I have chosen Pyro International to provide this years NYE fireworks. They could offer cold fireworks for around the stage,
upper Frank Kitts and in front of the stage as well as the children’s and main show off the barge.
My due diligence continues and I will receive full paperwork and H& S docs from Pyro Int in the coming weeks.
After reviewing the quotes I also did some reference checking to make sure they performed and delivered what was expected in a safe manner,
meeting all guidelines and paperwork.

HI Toby
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you its been a crazy weekend of pyro and rain in Auckland. I've
just landed back home and am working on everything today.
My meeting with Neptune went great They are happy to help us this year.
1987
s7(2)(a) from Neptune is just
locking in his staff and I am just waiting on his confirmation on the staff and crew operating the barge
and support boat. But he has let us know that they can help with the display this year so great news ACT
there.
My licence is in the hands of Worksafe and I will continue to follow up with them on that but I should
receive my temp licence soon (issued until the new physical card arrives in the mail)
I will continue to keep you updated on this.
MEETINGS
With the barge loading location, s7(2)(a) is currently chasing up some contacts he has to use the port
AND
location to save on travel time to the explosives loading zone. Hopefully, this will be possible to allow
us an extra hour of load time without, having to travel to the designated explosive zone. but if this fails
we are still locked in for the original option.
I will also loop you into the conversation with Worksafe today.
Cheers team let me know if you have any Questions

Dear Lyn,
ACT
I hope this message finds you well. Apologies for the delay in responding to your

delayed issue of my approved handler's certificate.
MEETINGS
Regarding the nature of the product, it's essential to note that all indoor products are
AND
classified as close proximity items. In practice, no indoor product can be considered
entirely cold spark. The factory-made indoor pyrotechnics, predominantly imported
from China, are not recommended for indoor or close proximity use due to safety
concerns. As a result we only use product from the USA, and so the product being
used for this display is imported from a very reputable company in the USA that
INFORMATION
specialises in close proximity products and is far more reliable.
The specific product in question is launched from a 25mm tube and is designed
without any secondary blast. Each use results in complete combustion, leaving no
OFFICIAL
residual fallout. This product is regularly deployed across multiple concert stages in
New Zealand and is typically categorized under indoor displays, as it closely aligns with
this classification, apart from special effects, which is primarily intended for smaller
effects and film production. This product is often used in and around performers on
stage due to it's nature. GOVERNMENT
To provide you with a visual representation, I have attached a video showcasing the
product in use: [Insert YouTube Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX-

Hi Jamie,
See below email from Worksafe, Lyn indicated on the phone that the chances of ACT
Tony getting his CSL renewed this side of Christmas are slim.
Also see below commentary from an ‘anonymous source’
btw the display he
(Tony) did in Auckland on the weekend, because his license had runout he
found a junior operator that wasn't licensed for large shells so he left large shells out also didn't
MEETINGS
have enough mortars for the display and tried to borrow them from one of my contacts he fired
1/2 the display.
AND
Guess the key here is getting a handle on the realistic chances of Tony’s CSL
being renewed and if necessary looking at options of engaging a third party with
the appropriate level of current CSL.
