Kia ora Jaime,

My understanding is there are no legal practitioners per se. The Review Committee’s role is to provide advice to the Vice-Chancellor based on the submissions received and the broader considerations relevant to the proposed new faculty arrangements. While the committee includes representation from both the law and business communities, its purpose is not to serve as a representative body for every specific group, but rather to assess the feedback holistically and ensure that key perspectives are considered in the advice provided.

The committee will carefully consider input from the legal profession through the submissions received. The consultation process was designed to capture a broad range of views, and these will inform the committee’s discussions and recommendations.

Subject: Another quick question

 Hi Emily,

More things coming through from the faculty. There are numerous questions about who is on the panel from the legal profession. Is anyone on the committee a practicing attorney? There is concern that PWC is represented but not  a legal practitioner.

Thanks!

Jaime
