The Request 
Lianne Dalziel, Mayor of Christchurch, requested the number of port serious harms notified to 
WorkSafe New Zealand (WorkSafe) from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2014.   
The Response 
From 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2014, WorkSafe received 132 notifications of serious harm 
at ports. See Table 2 below for further information.
