Response to your official information request 
Thank you for your official information request received on 17 September 2024 for 
Assessment Report 201900304 - Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Industry (NZ) Limited. 
The assessment report has previously been released under the Official Information Act 
(OIA) in March 2020 and August 2024 with some redactions. At that time, the information 
was withheld under: 
•  s 9(2)(g)(i ) - to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through protecting 
employees from improper pressure or harassment; and 
•  s 9(2)(b)(i ) – unreasonable prejudice to the commercial position of the person 
who supplied or who is subject to the information. 
We are of the view the withholding of the information was not outweighed by the public 
interest to make that information available. 
We attach a copy of the previously released redacted report. Can you please let us know 
if you would like to request the redacted information. If so, we wil  consult with the 
affected parties and reconsider the grounds for withholding the information. Please note, 
we may still redact some or all of the currently redacted information if there are good 
grounds, under the OIA for the continued withholding.
