Are animals in New Zealand being injected with mRNA based vaccines

Athina Andonatou made this Official Information request to Damien O'Connor

The request is waiting for clarification. If you are Athina Andonatou, please sign in to send a follow up message.

From: Athina Andonatou

Dear Damien O'Connor,
It has recently come to my attention that pigs in the USA have been injected with mRNA based vaccines since 2018. So my question is:
Are any livestock in New Zealand being injected with mRNA based vaccines? If yes, which animals and since when?
If no, are there any policies, legislation or bills in the current agenda where this is being discussed. If yes, please provide details - emails, reports etc

Yours faithfully,

Athina Andonatou

Dear Hon Damien O'Connor,
I'd like to take you up on your offer to "provide guidance around how to do so and what constitutes official information" and how to better ask my question regarding whether livestock in NZ are being injected with mRNA based vaccines as are pigs in the USA.
