Submissions data 
 
To release the data to you in a spreadsheet format as you have requested, we have had to remove 
all personal information. In some cases, in the free text section, submitters have given personal 
details such as their address. As we are unable to review all the data in the free text section and 
apply redactions to this within the timeframe you have specified. We have therefore removed this 
section in its entirety to remove the risk of personal information being revealed  under section 
7(2)(a) of the Act. The submissions are available on our website with the relevant privacy redactions 
as PDFs.   
 
There are two spreadsheets attached, one based off the WCC survey, and one based off the 
responses to the Thorndon Community Group survey.  
 
The consultation summary report provides a breakdown on the submissions and is from page 113 
Agenda of Koata Hātepe | Regulatory Processes Committee - Thursday, 11 May 2023 
(wel ington.govt.nz) and you wil  note it also provides a breakdown of the submissions made via 
the Thorndon Community Group form (page 166). I have attached the report for your reference. 
 
Right of review 
If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the Office of the Ombudsman
