Thank you for your Official Information Act (the Act) request of 21 December 2022.
You have asked for:
• The lists of all books from the O.P.C donated and sent to each of the New Zealand
universities, and also, all books donated to the National University of Samoa, even if
they haven't been sent yet.
In response to the first part of your request, I am releasing to you the lists of titles provided
by New Zealand universities. The highlighted titles within the documents are the ones of
interest and were highlighted by the universities. Please find these listed in
Appendix A.
Please note that due to the size of some of the files, the information wil be provided to you
in tranches, using the email address above.
Some material has been withheld under Section 9(2)(a) of the Act to protect the privacy of
natural persons. I am declining part two of your request under Section 18(e) of the Act as the
information does not exist, the National Library has received no requests nor donated any
books from the OPC to the National University of Samoa.
As this information may be of interest to other members of the public, the decision has been
made to proactively release a copy of this response on the Department of Internal Affairs
website. All requester data, including your name and contact details, will be removed prior
to release. The released response will be made available here:
