 I write concerning an official information request received from Jai Ganesh on 13/12/22. Please see the full request below for context:
 
"Could you please provide for the period 2016 - 2022:
- the number of cases for the Flu and related (Adenovirus , Flu A / B , Rinovirus) in NZ
- the number of hospitalisations for the same
- the number of deaths of the same
broken down by month."

As discussed between Rani Kandiah and Jennifer Dando on 20/12/22, this request is being transferred in part to your agency for response. Your agency is only required to respond to the highlighted question. 
 
Please treat this email as a formal transfer of "the number of deaths of the same" section under section 14 of the Official Information Act. You should be aware that a response must be provided to the requester as soon as reasonably practicable, and no later than 20 working days after the day this transfer is received by your agency, unless an extension of time is required and duly notified to the requester.
